The PHPStan's playground just gained a superpower: an X-ray for your code! Flip the switch in the top right corner and you'll get info about AST node types and inferred PHPStan types on hover.

updated @phpstan to the latest release on the @WordPress codebase. thanks to the latest performance improvements on a cold result-cache it now takes 11 seconds instead of 33 seconds before. pro tip: make regularly sure you are on the latest version!

Just updated @phpstan to the latest release on the @shopware codebase. on my local machine I can reproduce a speedup of ~47% (when result-cache is cold). As soon as the result-cache is warm, its a matter of a few seconds.

I was told that the recent PHPStan version (2.2.13) got a significant performance boost. I have to say: I'm not disappointed! ±4s to run PHPStan compared to ±17s on the whole Tempest codebase 💯

PHPStan 2.2.13 is a big one. Not as big as 2.3.0 will be but a big one nevertheless 😉 • Result cache finally becomes usable for monorepo setups • PHPStan always runs with OPCache enabled • PHPStan Turbo strips runtime checks from PHPStan's own code (!!!)

Starting with todays @phpstan release we improved result cache so we can utilize it more often out of the box. Should be especially useful on gitlab so you can easily persist the result cache file between runs without the need for a custom path in NEON config
