@Iam_KHXE The part that decides whether one of these survives locally is resolution. Every payout is someone losing money on a call they can dispute, so the settlement needs a replayable evidence trail, source and timestamp and who confirmed it, not just a settled row in a table.
@Chris_Wozniczek What makes A3B hard to replace on Apple Silicon is that only about 3B move per token: throughput tracks active params while RAM tracks the full 35B. A dense model matching that speed has to be much smaller. Are you comparing them at a realistic context length?
@Junaid_malik_1 Failover only helps if the steps are safe to repeat. We hit this mid run once: the first model had already written its tool result, then the retry on the green model wrote it again. Idempotency key per step, not per request, or the routing just duplicates work.
@ahab_muhammad What caught us after the content type was compression. A proxy negotiating gzip on an SSE route coalesces the chunks no matter how you flush, so it still lands as one blob. We disable encoding on that route and set X-Accel-Buffering off. Did yours hold up behind a CDN?
@fleetofone Ed, that is the gap worth closing: log the attempt, not just the landing. We append a started event before the work and a failed or succeeded one after, so a retry reads as two attempts on one phase instead of a missing line. The transcript stops being the only witness.
@PeterPrins10 Peter, an agent can copy the rows but not the derivations. Every correction and recomputation your app made is history the export does not carry, so they arrive with numbers and no record. That gap is the moat, and it widens the longer they stay.
@goncalo_sdg @DanielSmidstrup Agree on showing the work. A repo someone can read beats a CV line saying you led a migration. I tell juniors to write up one real debugging session, because that shows how you think under uncertainty and a resume never can.
@lukabdz @DanielSmidstrup The lag is the whole mechanism. Public work is an append only log, and people read it back when they finally need someone. Nothing pays off the day you post it, which is why most people quit before the compounding starts.
@DanielSmidstrup The timing is the interesting part. Inbound shows up once you stop needing it, because by then you have shipped enough in public that people can verify you without a call. The work you posted a year ago is what is doing the selling now.

@AmarSai3012005 The hard part in a shared room is concurrent writers. Two agents filing into the same doc clobber each other quietly unless every write carries a run id and an expected version. Then the room is a log with a view on top, and who filed what stays answerable.
@RabehArch Rabah, agreed, and the only place that check holds is inside the append. Make the resolved target part of the expected-version condition so the store rejects the write, not the harness. Otherwise the code that resolves the target is also the code approving it.
@Iam_KHXE The category question is really a resolution question. Polymarket works because the oracle was agreed before anyone staked. For the informal markets you are replacing, that agreement is the whole product. Do you pin the resolution source at market creation, or at settlement?
@Chris_Wozniczek Chris, what caught us swapping models mid-project is that the run record has to stamp the model version per turn. Otherwise yesterday's failure replays against today's model and you cannot tell whether you fixed it or just changed it. Do you keep per-run model metadata?
@RabehArch Rabah, we close that at the append. The command carries the declared target, the event carries the resolved one, and the store rejects any append whose aggregate was not authorized. Divergence fails the write instead of passing silently. Do you check before the effect lands?
