@0x1164 @kevinliu @kbwofficial This is where agent reputation becomes extremely important. Does the agent do as it claims? Instead of using zkML to prove inference, derive reputation from its previous onchain transactions.
@apruden08 Actually, trust in cryptography comes from the math - from formal methods and rigorous security analysis. People not using a primitive doesnt mean there is no value. Some primitives have high computational overhead or lag in speed, and only come to use when the tech catches up.
@sridharfyi depends on what the company is building and how lean it is. But, generally, 12 months is a good amount of time.
@fede_intern I disagree. The idea of crypto was never to have multiple tokens or be part of TradFi. It was to decentralize the traditional finance that we have today and use crypto as a currency for buying and selling goods. Thats basically it. The rest is just useless noise we created.
This is exactly why we need a reputation tracking system for AI agentic commerce. And we're building one.
Youre about to let robots spend money with zero ID, zero liability, zero fraud protection. Build something that stops the agent from torching someones savings. KYA, agent insurance, spend limits. boring as fuck. thats the H2 2026 - 2027 money
🚨 Sam Altman warns OpenAi and Anthropic are experiencing severe pullback on Ai spending as companies put significant restraints on spending to restrict costs. The company warns investors it’s the first time this has happened in Ai and something we never expected. The buildout costs aren’t sustainable to allow profitability to hyperscalers or end users. $soxx $dram
Sam Altman said AI budgeting has recently become a "huge issue" for some companies, something that "never came up" earlier this year. bit.ly/4uxIGnv
@0xJonnyDee Your post was about crypto projects disabling replies when facing backlash. This is the exact same thing. When you block someone they cannot reply, repost, or quote your posts. This company did the exact above when facing backlash. I think the relationship should be obvious now.
@dara_venture So bitcoin is centralized?
I have said this from the beginning. Crypto and blockchains should be used in everyday purchases. The only product that actually did this was the Silk Road by Ross Ulbricht. Although it was used on the dark web, it did what blockchains and cryptocurrencies were intended to do.
THE FOUNDER OF ETHEREUM IS WARNING. THE MARKET IS SPRINTING THE OTHER WAY. 🇺🇸 Vitalik Buterin warns crypto dies fast if it stays about gambling with no real-world use. He's not predicting it. He's describing what already happened. Pumpfun. Memecoins. SpaceX perps on tokens
@EscanorReloaded You make some excellent points. But keep in mind that this was never about AI replacing employees. Its about CEOs not being able to lead a company properly and overhiring during the pandemic and now having to reduce headcount. The AI is just a lame excuse for C-suite incompetency
when people say crypto is dead, they don't mean the industry the fundamentals of this industry are looking good what they mean is that their ability to extract money from dumb retail has vanished - and with it their passion for this space in this new era of crypto you actually have to build things of value to make money which understandably isn't for everyone
@DBCrypt0 Exactly! Patience is key. Most of the exploits have happened from bugs sitting in the protocol for a sufficiently long time (enough to build trust in them) and exploited right when everyone's guard is down.
I was just thinking about this the other day. If I find a bug, why let the team know for a fraction of what I can get when I exploit it?
Incentives are the problem Report a bug saving a protocol 8-9 figures? Get paid 10k Hack a protocol for $11M? Return 80% and walk away with $2M Typical bug bounties in crypto are dwarfed by the losses we see. Too often this is the case. Did you know Bybit's max bounty before
I like this analogy.
Bragging about how much software you’re shipping with AI is like holding down the shutter button and bragging about how many photos you took.
@shafu0x And probably even more clueless how to run a company
Finally the most important aspect of blockchains is gaining attention.
I get why understanding blockchains is hard. It requires connecting the dots between so many things: tech → cryptography, distributed systems, protocols markets → finance, economics, incentives people → governance, culture, coordination People who don’t understand this end
@stacy_muur @LayerZero_Core @chainlink Note that 16 is still compromisable. If we want to avoid compromised nodes altogether we need to move to a fully permissionless decentralized architecture (at least 250-300 nodes) where anyone can join or leave. Otherwise we're just decreasing the probability, not eliminating it.
