One thing I’m consistently fascinated by is the how the pre-market “sea of red” / “blood bath” / “market sell-off” is still a recurring theme despite so many now having access to more and more 24 hour trading capabilities. It’s a recurring trope that has been working for 20+ years in the modern markets cycle. I’m surprised pre-market trading isn’t more unpredictable and doing new unseen trading action with the current market access people have. But instead same thing: futures red headlines force the gap down into the open repeat

If we get a market sell-off to the point where Anthropic has to IPO at a discount, it will be a remarkable turn of events for many of us. Maybe that day will come depending on today’s action. Let’s see - and I have never seen a company hit $16B in quarterly revenue faster than this.

I find it interesting how the next great video game could effectively be a platform that gives you the ability to make the game, story, and setting you want rather than buying the fixed environment. If i was really bullish on the upcoming GTA, they would turn their game into a platform that allows people to make and mod their worlds.
