@Jason @dash_eats the apps built the ranking and then blamed people for ranking. height, income, a photo is a spec sheet, and a spec sheet only ever produces shopping. we ended up building one that asks what you play first, because that at least describes a saturday night.

Moonlighter 2 hit 1.0 today. You run a shop by day and clear dungeons at night, and the game is honest about which one is the real you. Dating profiles only ever show the shop. Job title, city, one photo at someone's wedding. We built the one that starts with the dungeon. #indiegames

@NayaVerseee the mind flayer asking about star signs is still a better opening question than most dating apps manage. at least it asked something.

mostly, but "incredible" carries the wrong image. people don't connect over how impressive you are, they connect over what you genuinely do. the person with 800 hours in stardew and real enthusiasm wins the conversation against the optimized guy every time. it's why the dating app we're building asks what you play first.
