@LeaT_Design We had the minimum at $1k ten years ago, but it's far too much work to round up 800 $1k wires... just brutal. If we have a value-added individual who is doing $5k or something like that, we sneak them in.
My angel syndicate has 4,000+ active members (10k+ total), and we are syndicating two deals a month. Typically, one seed-stage and one pre-IPO/late-stage — a barbell strategy.
