What is Bromantane? Bromantane (sold as ladasten) is an adamantane drug approved in russia for asthenia, meaning illness-related fatigue. the idea is that it raises how much dopamine the brain can make, working slowly through gene expression rather than forcing dopamine out the way amphetamine does. reptides grades it B overall, and B for cognition. the support is older russian studies, including a 728-patient asthenia report. Those studies were in diagnosed patients, not healthy people. Long-term safety is thin, and the popular 11.21-hour half-life can't be traced to an accessible primary human source.

So another bromantane update: Today I decided to empty a 50mg capsule and mix it into some coconut oil to see if it would help with absorption. I believe I can say with a somewhat high degree of confidence that it does in fact work. The bromantane is just noticeably hitting me

Big update in the Lilly vs. FDA fight over retatrutide. Today, DOJ filed a last-minute letter pointing the court to a July case where the same appeals court said FDA’s interpretation of its own scientific definitions can still carry significant weight. DOJ is basically telling the judges: when deciding whether Reta should legally be treated as a peptide drug or a protein/biologic, FDA’s own scientific definition should matter. The entire case basically comes down to this: - Lilly wants retatrutide classified as a protein/biologic. - FDA says it is still a peptide drug and does not meet its definition of a protein. If Lilly wins and Reta is classified as a biologic, it moves into the biologics framework. Follow-up products would generally face the biosimilar pathway instead of the normal generic pathway, and 503A/503B pharmacies cannot use the normal drug-compounding exemptions for biologics. If FDA wins and Reta remains classified as a drug, it stays under the traditional drug framework, where 503A/503B compounding laws can potentially apply if all other requirements are met. Oral arguments are Thursday, September 24 at 9:30 AM in Chicago.
