what if there was a freely tradeable asset yielding 20-25% p.a., geared to crypto beta (with that beta hedgeable if you want)? few crypto projects have fundamentals and near-term catalysts as strong as $AERO for those who don't know: you can buy and swap your liquid into locked $AERO and earn 20-25% p.a. from trading fees on the leading DEX on @base. no directional view on any particular asset is required as you simply own a % of the fee stream. if you want out, you sell the locked position and your illiquid yield-bearing asset becomes a liquid one this is what a productive and net positive crypto asset looks like. I expect fundamentals like these to matter far more this cycle and the next yes, the team overstepped with their comms in the past. getting publicly slapped by their comps humbled them and became the clearing event to refocus on execution if they ship the long-awaited upgrade cleanly and merge liquidity provision with the prediction markets theme: strap in! upcoming catalysts: token merger with velodrome, mainnet + further L2 expansion, stocks expansion, buybacks + burns, narrowing of the liquid vs locked spread (currently ~12%) and generally more liquidity there's also an underappreciated david vs goliath angle: few know the team never raised from VCs, unlike every comp at comparable scale the fundamentals and the story combine into a clear shot at making $AERO the dominant DEX across EVM and a top 20 crypto project lastly, imo any crypto rails thesis, centralized or decentralized, benefits from stock trading on crypto rails as earnings quality improves driving a sector-wide rerate
