@michellechen any model results which are worse than published benchmarks is absolutely nerfing and de facto fraud. their excuses amount to greed and lies. they are free to publish the benchmarks for the very worst possible performance, and then over-deliver as capacity permits. holding breath
fun fact. I was the first employee to file a bug against this against a production iphone I bought at retail. had no idea about anything beyond it was trash if I held it wrong. added myself to the security list in Radar so I could see it when it disappeared into a hardware component. last I saw, there were 150 people cc'd, before it vanished even from that access I found out a few years later from someone with admin level access that the bug had been scrubbed utterly from the immutable database. it's a shame corporate honesty is an oxymoron. it's really not difficult.
