I also see llama.cpp doing min-p 0.05 by default. How did this become common practice? Are the least probable tokens not worthwhile considering, ever? Seems like an overly aggressive filter to me.
PSA: If you're using DS4 and use the recommended sampling parameters from DeepSeek (temp: 1.0, top-p 0.95), note that DS4 defaults min-p to 0.05 and so unless you explicitly set min-p to 0, the token distribution is truncated more aggressively which may cause repetition loops.

You can run the full DeepSeek V4 Pro 0813 in native precision at a fairly decent speed, locally on 2x Mac Studios using DS4. Also worth noting that this model beats Mythos Preview at CyberGym (83.3 vs 83.1)
Did a mixed quant of Qwen3.8-2.4T-A95B that should run nicely on 2x Mac Studios. This also runs on stock mlx-lm (0.31.3) since it's using the existing Qwen 3.5 MoE architecture. huggingface.co/kernelpool/Qwe…
Interestingly, running Kimi K3 (expert pruned) on 2 Mac Studios (~10 tok/s) can be faster than what some inference providers can offer during peak hours (5 tok/s)
