Stop caring so much about model releases. Focus on the harness, and improving the environment your agent operates in. You'll find yourself far ahead of the curve.
Starting to using cursor on my phone… With the cloud features, plus linear and github. I can play with my side projects the whole day.
I added a `grill-me` flow for plans and decisions that need pressure before work begins. It asks short rounds of questions, maps trade-offs, and stops once the remaining uncertainty has an owner.
On a new task, I would begin with discovery only if a meaningful ambiguity remains. Otherwise I would write the spec and avoid an interview that adds no information.

If building gets cheaper, more people can ship. The scarce part moves upstream: noticing a problem worth solving, choosing a sharp angle, and making work that someone remembers.

This week I’m sharing the workflow I use to make agent work more deliberate. It starts with decisions, then turns them into artifacts, tests and review evidence.
The workflow begins before implementation. A request needs discovery when the problem is unclear. It needs a plan when the problem is settled. Treating both as "start coding" creates expensive rework.
A generated adapter is not a promise that every tool behaves identically. It is a way to keep the shared intent aligned while being honest about each tool's limits.
Keeping one source of truth removes a quiet failure mode. You update the Cursor instruction, forget the Codex version, then spend time debugging two different workflows.
The repository has one canonical workflow directory: .ai. Skills, commands, agents, policies and templates start there. Tool-specific files are generated from it.
The first design decision was portability. The workflow should not depend on one editor, one model or one agent runtime.
Agents make the first draft cheap. That makes the definition of done more valuable, not less.
The goal was never a collection of clever prompts. I wanted a repeatable way to move from an unclear request to evidence that a change works.
A prompt can start a task. It cannot carry the decisions, tests, boundaries and review rules that have to survive the next task. I wanted a repository to hold those things.
