@bryan_johnson Maybe not currently happening, but the coolest thing that “will” happen will be a micro-needle patch enabling thousands of protein continuous pseudo live quantification. But there is a leap in protein capture and sub nano molar quantification that still needs to be made.

Let's imagine one in 10 years wanting to do an open heart surgery, would they accept a non specialist Physician or would strive for the heart surgeon who did thousands of surgeries in his/her life time? It's really an exaggerated example but I think it maps to other careers.

The era of linear careers is ending. The most successful people will work illegible career paths by running hundreds of interesting experiments over their lives. They won't even "monetize" the old way. They'll just stumble into revenue.

AI slop is getting into my favourite youtube channels, generating scripts and People uttering it soundextremely smart, while in reality, most of the sentences is complete non sense and only another robot would be educated.

True to a high degree, iterations cycle as well are painfully slow. Synthesising any protein type with the right PTMs in 1 hour would solve large percentage of Biotech problems. Although if think openly about the potential for compute, if we can truly model "every" interaction, then it would also have as big of an impact.

It was already hard to deeply understand an article, trying to understand the intuition of the person writing it, Trying to understand the meaning behind an LLM written article is a fool's errand, there are no layers behind it, no meaning. Beautiful pieces are multi dimensional.

I am not sure, until now, that AI has replaced any skillful workers, maybe it is able to replicate work for people who don't know what they are doing. AI didn't even replace good copy writers, which is the job we could have expected to be replaced the first, We can see the soul and life inside a very good article. LLMs "until now" has to be guided strategically to reach meaningful results.

LLM watermarking is net positive in my opinion, this doesn't mean that it is being done out of good social intentions, it will improve data annotation and model training. As AI slop is probably starting to affect the Training processes for major players.

Why are there no open source wearable technologies, Being able to stream the raw data from a health wearable and developing my own software that can analyse my health data, creating some sort of federated health datasets from across the globe, I think a community capability to do something really good here will probably surpass a single company capability, specially combining this data with Smart glasses data and other wearables.

not impossible, although Social Apps will recognise this, and it will be deemed mandatory to mention when is someone using AI vs Not. AI companies are best candidates for creating AI detectors. And it will be reasonably easy to create AI detectors.

I think we’re going to reach a point where the internet is so flooded with AI-generated nonsense that nobody trusts anything anymore. Eventually, people will stop scrolling, stop checking feeds, and start going outside again like it’s the 90s.
