@missradders @Arithmaticks @kyledevans Enjoy reading when you finally get to the holiday! We have a slightly different set up this year. A two week holiday for the students. One week of CPD/admin/department time followed by one week holiday for staff. The CPD week totally feels like a holiday though!

@dutaut This is inspiring. Ive been wondering about reading with my sixth form students. A shortage of time and the question of whether they’d benefit/enjoy has stopped me. But this has made me decide I’m at least going to ask them the question. Any book recommendations appreciated 🙂

@mathsology_ I’ll have to get back to you in a few months. I’m the only GCSE teacher, so only have to convince myself, but may be facing a similar situation later this year. I can empathise with those who feel disillusioned, the national resit ‘pass’ rate is saddening.
