I just bought the new $GOOG fit bit air after having my $AAPL watch for many, many years. I love the fit bit. The app that it links to on $GOOG health is so cool. As I was doing some research into buying the product, I had a few thoughts: 1 - $GOOG software and their suite of apps are truly incredible. They're easy to use, fun/cool, and productive. They completely own the internet between chrome, gmail, cloud, etc. and it's not even close. 2 - $GOOG is becoming what $AAPL failed to do. Apple had such opportunity to expand their hardware products and have not innovated as much as their competition. Now, Google has a massive inventory of phones, smart watches, and other devices that seamlessly incorporate AI. Google is incredible, and it is what Apple should have become.

@viralasylum2 A moat is durable pricing power across a full cycle. $MU and $SNDK don't have it, which is why their gross margins collapsed in 2023 selling the same chips to the same customers. This is just a timing thing and it will not last.

Regarding $DRAM related stocks. My thoughts: All the big gains have been made already. The people pounding the table now on $MU and $SNDK missed the boat and the euphoria from these names gives me pause. People don’t realize that these stocks have no moat and are highly cyclical. Stop chasing the big gains. Buy steady, boring compounders.

One huge investing principal is to think differently than other investors. I believe that to be true. I’ll never understand why people on this app are just so obsessive and defensive of certain stocks, that are not good. It’s bad investing. Don’t follow the crowd. $SOFI $HIMS $ADBE $RKLB

Why does twitter always freak out when this guys says anything? He’s always doom and gloom and is almost always wrong. Look at the facts, companies are performing extremely well from an earnings and execution perspective. Negative business news like this and from others are poison to the naive retail investor.

To be a successful investor, valuation is everything, specifically when you buy. Same business. Same earnings. Same end-state stock price. Different entry points. 5-year annualized return on an identical company (using real numbers from a company). → 10% above FV: ~4%/yr → At FV: ~7%/yr → 10% below FV: ~10%/yr Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.
