@NeuronPool @dfinityDev @dominic_w @dfinity here the PR to support your logo in II 2.0: github.com/dfinity/intern… please note that logos are currently hardcoded in the II canister and it is on the backlog of the team to investigate if that can be replaced with a dynamic approach where dapps can supply the image instead.

Eth smart contracts are input/output programs that are primarily used for moving tokens, micro data and verifying things. It is incredibly difficult to have general compute on the blockchain, things like long running server processes, DB style storage, SSR and TCP connections are standard in Web2. In today’s day and age, there is a tradeoff when you choose to use a blockchain to build your app - you sacrifice UX. Which is probably the worst sacrifice to make. Suggesting developers use 3 distinct blockchain/crypto tech stack options to build a single dApp in 2026, is kind of a non-starter in my opinion. Each tech stack becomes a dependency to monitor and debug. Combining them elegantly so that it doesn't degrade UX is incredibly difficult. This is a major a reason why "dApps" haven't really caught on and Web2 tech stacks remain king. Users just want things to work and work fast.
