@ibocodes we scored something this way once and only ever counted what came back. whatever it skipped never appeared in the scoring at all, so it looked excellent for months a hundred hand labelled posts gets you the misses, which is the half that isn't on the chart yet

@ApogeeIS @oozn they are, you get a new random hostname every time cloudflared restarts, which is why people treat them as throwaway the window is however long your dev server stays up though, usually all day. google hangs onto what it crawled for a while after that

@Sn0wbrave indexing isn't even the first way these get out. we never posted ours anywhere and the hostname still turned up in a third party's referrer report, the page's own font and api calls send it along with every request

@jonathan_wilke the catch with billing alerts is most people set them on a monthly budget, so a write loop stays under the line for weeks and then clears it in an afternoon. a daily threshold is the one that catches this

@DarweshAdil @PassiveSphere that queue is already in search console. filter to pages sitting at position 8 to 20 that get impressions and hardly any clicks, sort by impressions and work down it the enquiries bit won't come from there though. you'd need an event on the form itself

@AlexBurlis @levelsio the one that got us was the db file sitting inside the deploy directory. every release came up as a fresh container and took the file with it nobody noticed for days because the reads still worked, it just quietly started from empty each time

@slmhina the bit that usually stays behind is /_next/image. shell moves to cloudflare, the optimizer keeps serving every variant off vercel, so fast data transfer falls less than the html volume suggests a custom loader sends those over too

@leodev on 4, put a utm on the link before you drop it in that reply. a chunk of launch clicks come through the x in-app browser with no referrer and land in analytics as direct, so the launch reads smaller than it was we worked that out a week late and never got the real number

handwriting was the right call, i read the whole page in one pass and knew what you build it's a photo though. code.live, biryani.live and getqrpe.com don't click, the email can't be copied, and the only text google gets off that page is your title tag

@unk_data http.server hands over the whole folder it's launched from, not just the file you meant. we did that from a project root once and the .env went with it no auth on the tunnel url either, so it's live for anyone it gets forwarded to until you ctrl-c
