To help more developers build with Muse Spark 1.3 at our contributor tier pricing, we're rolling out optimizations. In our testing, it has a 1-2% variance on our aggregate benchmarks compared to the standard tier. We've been using it for a while and noticed no differences in capability in our own usage. The reception for Muse Spark 1.3 has been great - keep building and share feedback! We're eager to keep improving performance and capability.
Meta’s Segment Anything Model (SAM) 3.1 is now available on Meta Model API, giving developers a fast and lightweight model for detection, segmentation and tracking in a single call on inference tuned for SAM 3.1's architecture. Use a short phrase to find objects in images and video. One API call returns detections, pixel-precise segmentation masks, and identity-preserving video tracks. Last night, I built a VR game prototype in a few hours with Muse Code on PC. It was already available on macOS and Linux, and today we’re bringing it to PC! 🔥 I tested it with Unity through the Unity CLI, and here are a few things that worked really well for me: - Having Muse Code on PC alongside Link, which is only supported on Windows, makes testing in the headset so much faster. - I built one feature at a time, just like I do with other agents: a Unity project ready for MR/VR, then the core mechanic, the game loop, and finally the environment. - I added rules to AGENTS md to prioritize Meta VR CLI for context. This worked really well for implementing the hand tracking punch mechanic and power up. - After initially testing in Meta XR Simulator, I found that the shaders needed changes for stereo rendering in VR. Muse Code handled those updates really well.
