Im Original sagt sie hörbar: „that children get killed“ Die deutsche Voice-over-Stimme macht daraus: „dass Kinder in Gaza verhungern.“ Nein. Sie sagt nicht „verhungern“. Sie sagt „getötet werden“. Das ist keine Nebensächlichkeit. Das verändert die Aussage. Und ausgerechnet in dem Moment, in dem eine israelische Künstlerin die deutsche Vorsicht und die Staatsräson kritisiert, wird ihre schärfste Formulierung in der deutschen Fassung abgeschwächt. Genau das ist das Problem. Nicht nur, worüber deutsche Medien berichten, sondern wie sie Sprache verändern, sobald es um deutsche Verantwortung und Israels Krieg in Gaza geht.

@dhh I think there are much better examples to pick if you want to make that case. Disallowing email spam is not one of the problems with GDPR.
As we start doing this with more advanced animals, at what point does it become an ethical concern? I wouldn't want to fully simulate a person in my computer just to play beat saber. But give it enough time and someone is absolutely going to do it.

America’s urban parks should have cafes and beer gardens in them.
Social eating, especially among young people, should be subsidized by the state, which has a direct stake in whether its young people are socializing with each other. State beergardens, etc.
