👋 Greetings Explorers! 🔥 Today we are releasing a huge free update featuring a new game mode, first-person avatar arms, Steam Frame and Open XR support, improved visuals and performance, and so much more! 🥽 Steam Frame + OpenXR Dungeons of Eternity is Steam Frame Verified! This build features finger tracking, rebindable SteamVR input, and its own graphics settings — plus experimental OpenXR support for PCVR. 🪦 Tomb Extraction Mode! Beyond the ominous skull cave lies a gateway to a new realm on Eternity. The Nova Guild has discovered a vast network of dark crypts, lit only by magic. Explorers should explore this new territory for resources. 🔮 Collect Crypt Runes in Dungeon Raid, then dial your destination at the new Crypt Dialing Device in the Outpost — your rune combination shapes the crypt and the loot inside, and combos can be shared with other explorers. Beware - extract and you keep it all, fall and you lose it all! 💀 What awaits in this mode? New loot, weapons, enemies, and over 60+ new chambers. Keep reading for more details! ⚔️ Crypt Weapons You won't bring your loadout into the tombs — you'll find what you need down there. The Crypt Keeper's Staff sends a guided orb of light ahead of you. Pull trigger again to detonate the light orb. The Tomb Breaker Hammer smashes open sealed tombs and works well against armored enemies. The Gravelight Bow illuminates crystal lights and explodes on impact. The Necromancer Staff charms an enemy to fight at your side! Skull Daggers are useful against all enemies and stealth kills, and can be found throughout the crypts. 🛡️ New Enemy: Crypt Guard The Crypt Guards patrol the crypt halls and can hear your voice and your magic, investigate sounds, and alert each other. Skeletons spawn in new, occasional-jump-scare ways. 💍 New Loot: Rings, Auric and Spectral Weapons A new equippable Ring slot with over 30 rings to find and collect, each with its own perk. Visible on your avatar, your teammates, and your own hands. Plus, two new legendary weapon classes: Auric weapons shake coins loose from the undead, and Spectral weapons echo your damage through them a moment later. 🤝 Avatar Arms, Damage Points, and more - First-Person arms and hands now change to match your avatar - EVERY player can carry a torch in dark rooms, thanks to an all-new lighting system - Experimental Offline Mode — run dungeons with no connection - Damage points and multipliers rising off enemies (toggleable) - Your inventory items now stay with you when you leave the game - ...and more! 🔧 Looks Better, Runs Better, Everywhere We overhauled lighting and rendering across the entire game: directional lightmaps (the same tech behind Half-Life: Alyx), volumetrics and many more real-time lights on Quest, optimized shaders, faster dungeon loads, network improvements, and avatar improvements. We have also enabled Graphic Settings for all platforms, letting users tweak for immersion or performance. 🎻 And More... There's a Lute in the Outpost sitting area — 16 chords, power chords, real strumming, fully networked.
