Excited for this upcoming episode featuring my good friend @iChristwin talking about what he is building with @whyNotSwitch and @M3tering
Decentralized solar, funded at the grassroots level, maintained by community, & powered by Ethereum 🤝☀️ Next week @iChristwin of @M3tering & @whyNotSwitch joins us to explore blockchain's role in ending energy poverty & building a more sustainable world 🌱🌍 Live Tuesday!🗓️
The future of affordable clean energy is decentralized ☀️🔋 We sat down with @iChristwin of @M3tering & @whyNotSwitch to explore how blockchain can help end energy poverty in Africa and build a community-owned power grid for 1B people 🌐💡 🎧Listen: cryptoaltruists.com/blog/crypto-al… We discuss: ⚡️ How tokenized energy assets & stablecoins built on Ethereum can unlock affordable solar energy where grids fall short 🤝 The role of smart contracts in creating efficient, auditable payment & revenue systems for community-owned grids ⛓️ How blockchain can increase trust & transparency in energy grids, while reducing costs & shifting ownership to the people ⚙️ Bridging the physical & digital with crypto-powered hardware meters
Electricity x Blockchain ... But the right way @whyNotSwitch and @M3tering is building the locomotive to enable cash infusion in decentralised solar grids. Solid talk on the why and how 👇👇👇 open.spotify.com/episode/25Rndv…

Celebrating our friend Jon Ruth today on his birthday 🎉
2025...one smart meter at a time 🗿
We are happy to contribute to this effort by @SolarpunkNomads to help people in Ukraine access solar power & light. Thank you, @Marcobear_eth for your coordination & determination to make this happen ☀️
We are happy to share that we have successfully delivered 1.500 euro worth of humanitarian aid to @gen_ukraine ❤️ A detailed report on the mission will come out later in November! Thanks to everyone who helped us on the way, including our contributing partners at @Solar_FND.
Grateful for time spent with friends exploring the future of decentralized energy.
What a weekend we just had! We celebrated 4 years of our commitment to global energy access and had @jhruth from The Solar Foundation @Solar_FND come celebrate with us ✨
Incredibly grateful to meet and hang out with the @whyNotSwitch team. Many teams blow smoke about real world use cases while this team builds and innovates solutions for the problems Nigerians and many across Africa face everyday. A strong team with a bright future.
@jhruth from @Solar_FND met up with the team @whyNotSwitch Over the Weekend, we discussed the impacts of Solar microgrids in Enugu and beyond. It was amazing as we brainstormed on the go, visiting different sites and talking about the use cases of Blockchain in Solar tech.
4 years building, learning and growing. Happy Anniversary to us @whyNotSwitch

It's been a while coming but the new generation of our smart meters are finally here! Meet Maxwell, the hardware catalyst for decentralised energy in the Global South 🌎 Getting coupled 🔧
How do we get to full autonomy? Unlike newly formed Web3 ecosystems, the energy sector has and is still at the mercy of government regulations that may limit growth, especially in Africa.
DePIN is for Africa. Why? Really don't see how access to basic infrastructure in Africa will rise in the next few years without the use of blockchain tech. The economics agree! Surely there's an exciting future behind these walls of regulation

We're not lost wondering how to generate $100 billion yearly to reach Africa's renewable energy goals. We're building a new version of our smart meter to work with large scale energy projects such as solar farms. Build and Scale 🚀
Exciting new report by @carboncopy_refi Introducing the concept of Impact DePINs for the first time and presents case studies from @shambanetwork, @M3tering and @arkreen_network. Very valuable info & potential alpha about the players in this nascent space of Impact DePINs 😀
