t3 code publicly launched just over 6 months ago. julius's orchestrator rewrite has been open for almost 4 months. pr #2829 we're now at #12157 510 commits. 1,357 files changed. 79% of the repo's prs were opened after this one. it's still open.

I overwrote my keyboard's firmware so that it runs a tiny character-level language model to predict the next key you'll hit. It has per-key backlight LEDs and just lights up the ones you're likely to hit. All inference local on the microprocessor - works without the computer too!

We also made this style of snapping apply when moving clips around. The idea of the design is to not have it jump ahead like every other editor, because that means you JUST CAN'T place a clip "close to, but not touching" another clip. This forces the user to have their finger on the toggle snapping key all the time, turning that on and off constantly. This is very annoying and wasted mental overhead. The snapping should not get in the way to where it needs to be disabled all the time. This way, either side of the clip edges can be approached gradually and it doesn't snap until you actually reach the snap point. Frankly insane no other editor has this, at least as an option. And if they add it now, you'll know where they got the idea.

google just took down all manifest v2 extensions from the chrome web store. for example, ublock origin is no longer available: chromewebstore.google.com/detail/cjpalhd… all mv2 extensions installed from the chrome web store can no longer receive updates, no matter what the mv2 availability is like in your browser
forced deprecation of mv2 extensions is only part of the problem. the chrome web store is generally hostile to everything that doesn't benefit google, and i don't think it should be the only place for all chromium browsers to get extensions. google likes to block genuine
