The EV Baker engine handles this at runtime: you simply load a subdivision cage (subdivision level 0), choose the subdivision mode, and specify the desired subdivision level. This works best for tangent-space normal and displacement maps.

📢KosmicKrisp, LunarG’s Mesa Vulkan driver for Apple silicon, has passed the Vulkan 1.4 Conformance Test Suite and is now a Khronos-conformant Vulkan 1.4 implementation! 🔥🔥🔥 In addition to reaching 1.4 conformance, considerable support for non-core extensions and features has been added, including Tesselation, Robustness2, and Multi-draw. Application developers can now have a single Vulkan 1.4 codebase across Linux, Windows, Android, and Mac. OpenAI is quietly cutting usage limits so they can launch a $500 plan. This is a pricing scam built on opaque subscription limits. Two months ago, burning through a $200 plan was hard. Last year, the $20 tier was more than enough for almost everyone. Now? A $200 tier fails after one day of real work. The $20 tier is just a free trial. We need real consumer protection for AI subscriptions.

It sounds like Claude has better “harness” for visual design in Claude Designer. That can get you better UI with easier interactive review. But for my own experience as UI/UX designer even skilled UI designers generate nice looking but a total crap. Because no UI without proper UX design possible. Apple a good example, nice looking utter trash without connection to a real use cases 🤷♂️
CLI, Terminal UI is more powerful and less bloated. When you still can review a code in your favorite IDE. Both Antropic and OpenAi top models are near a same level. But their reasoning skills often too high for a standard coding tasks. “Harness” (Claude Code or Codex) with default skills files is like a naive junior even on highest reasoning mode, when with a tailored c/c++/Vulkan/Cuda/etc skills even cheap reasoning models like Luna on a mid level. Proper orchestration design like Astra planning, managing and reviewing code/results with Luna doing all dirty work, with explicit delegation/report/checkpoints can work better (and cheaper) than just a swarm of high level agents. And personally I feel that OpenAi more compatible to do a great work in challenging tasks.
