Sensor Access Technology @sensoraccess

As we head into Q4, a lot of partners are bringing on new engineers or refreshing the team before the busy end-of-year period. Our GuardPoint10 installer training is built for that: we walk through system setup, cardholders, reports and the integrations you're most likely to meet on site. Training sessions are available either at our Brighton base or online if travel's awkward. It's aimed at installers and integrators who already work with access control (or are expanding into it), not end users. If you've got dates in mind for a training session, or want to know what's covered before you book, just shout. #GuardPoint10 #GP10 #AccessControl #InstallerTraining #SecurityTraining

@AetsLlc Tidy job. Anti-passback on the vehicle lanes makes a real difference once a site gets busy

@GotUWired @VerkadaHQ Nice work. Medical sites need access that's tight but still simple for staff, so getting the door control right makes a big difference.

@KeyburyFS Good advice. An older system can look fine right up until it's tested properly, so using a BAFE-approved installer is the safe route.

@KeyburyFS Great to see the full design, install and maintenance service backed by NSI Gold and BAFE. That's the standard clients should be asking for.

Simplify your visitor access with the Sensor VMS. Managing visitors shouldn’t mean relying on paper sign-in sheets, temporary cards or time-consuming manual processes. The Sensor Access Visitor Management System (VMS) is designed to simplify the way organisations manage visitor access, check-ins and temporary credentials, while providing a professional experience from arrival to entry. Fully integrated with GuardPoint10, it brings visitor management and access control together in one system. For modern offices, commercial buildings and multi-tenant developments, Sensor VMS provides a more efficient way to manage temporary access while creating a smoother experience for visitors, reception teams and building operators. #VisitorManagement #AccessControl #GuardPoint10 #SmartBuildings

How many plastic access cards does your organisation issue, replace and throw away each year? Lost cards. Damaged cards. Expired cards. New starters. Leavers. Each one adds to the amount of plastic being manufactured, printed, distributed and eventually discarded. MobileKey offers a smarter alternative. By utilizing existing smartphone technology, MobileKey reduces the need for physical cards and the waste that comes with them. Less plastic. Less waste. Smarter access. #MobileKey #MobileAccess #Sustainability #AccessControl #SmartBuildings #MobileCredentials

QR readers offer a simple, flexible way to manage access for visitors, contractors and temporary users without having to issue physical cards or fobs. QR credentials can be generated and distributed remotely to a user’s smartphone, then updated or revoked when required, making them ideally suited for facilities that see a large number of temporary visitors. Upgrade your access control with a solution that’s modern, scalable, and easy to manage. #AccessControl #QRAccess #VisitorManagement #BuildingSecurity #SecurityTechnology #SmartBuildings #AccessControlSystems

Biometric access control, can help tighten up security by making sure the person gaining access is actually the person authorised to be there. Ideal for higher-security areas like data centres, labs, healthcare environments, research spaces and other restricted areas where knowing exactly who entered really matters. But there are things to think about before specifying them. Biometric systems need proper planning, user enrolment, and careful handling of privacy and compliance requirements. Not every user will be comfortable with biometric data, and not every site environment is ideal for reliable scanning. So, the real question is not “are biometric readers better?” It is “are they right for this site, this risk level, and this group of users?” #AccessControl #BiometricReaders #SecurityInstallers #AccessControlInstaller #PhysicalSecurity #SecurityTechnology

Managing who is travelling on company transport, site shuttles or organised trips can be difficult when there isn't a fixed access control hardware available. MobileGuard brings GuardPoint10 directly onto the vehicle. Using a vehicle-mounted tablet, passengers can present their RFID card, MobileKey or QR credential as they board. MobileGuard checks their details against GuardPoint10, helping staff confirm that the individual is authorised to travel while recording their check-in. Additionally, the app can continue operating if Wi-Fi or mobile data is lost, and automatically synchronise with GuardPoint10 when the connection is restored. #AccessControl #TransportCheckIns #MobileGuard #GuardPoint10 #SecurityTechnology

Today we've been carrying out firmware updates on our IC500NX and IC1000NX controllers to ensure compatibility with PAC readers. It’s not the flashiest thing to post about, but it’s the sort of work that matters on real jobs. Not every site is a brand-new install with everything matching perfectly. Sometimes the job is about making the existing kit work with what’s already on site. #AccessControl #SecurityInstallers #IC500NX #IC1000NX #PACReaders

Our Guardpoint10 software supports full integration with Suprema’s BioEntry W3 facial readers, meaning no additional software is required for setup or synchronisation. Built for secure data protection, the BioEntry W3 is a next-generation facial authentication access control device powered by Suprema’s AI technology. Its deep-learning NPU delivers fast, highly accurate facial recognition, while a slim, compact design ensures durability against impact and harsh conditions. We also support integration with other Suprema products including the BioStation3, Facestation F2 and BioLite N2. Considering biometric readers for an upcoming job? One of GuardPoint10’s greatest strengths is its ability to integrate with third-party systems and products. Today we’re looking at our integration with Milestone. Milestone is a leading provider in video technology software, enabling operators to view, record and manage CCTV cameras across a site or multiple sites. Sensor GuardPoint10 Access Control Software is fully integrated with Milestone Systems, helping bring access events, alarms and video together in one place, for a more streamlined solution without the having to jump between separate platforms. #AccessControl #Milestone #CCTV #SecurityInstallers #IntegratedSecurity #GuardPoint10

Not every access control project fits neatly into an off-the-shelf box. That is why our GP10 applications are developed in-house by Sensor Access. Where some access control companies rely on third-party apps to fill the gaps, we build our own applications around GuardPoint10, giving customers and installers a more joined-up, turnkey solution. Why not request a demonstration of how these applications can be the icing on the cake! #AccessControl #SecurityInstallers #SecuritySystems

'Entry' level doesn’t have to mean bare bones. With our free GP10-Entry software licence, you get capacity for up to 2,000 cardholders and 32 readers, plus access to powerful features such as T&A, ANPR, Alarm Management, Graphical Maps and more included as standard. And if the site's needs grow you can add additional modules later as required, meaning you only pay for the features you need. No need to over-spec it on day one, but you’re not boxed in later either. #GuardPoint10 #AccessControl #SecurityInstallers #SensorAccess

Our new website is now live. We’ve given it a fresh look and made it easier to find what you need, as well as adding the new online store page. Our customers can now browse selected products, and order readers, cards, fobs, and other access control hardware directly through our website. @secomplc Fair play to the SECOM lads, not the easiest place to get a job done. Thanks for bringing that Scilly sunshine back to the main land.
