I don’t understand why remote workers don’t use Claude for job hunting. Here’s a simple 6-step hack to get you hired in 30 days max:

Don’t overthink backend in the AI era. You still need the fundamentals. • Learn HTTP → how the web talks • Learn Databases → how data lives • Learn Caching → how apps get fast • Learn Auth → how users stay safe • Learn APIs → how systems connect • Learn Queues & Background Jobs → how async work happens • Learn Logging & Observability → how production gets debugged • Learn Testing & CI/CD → how software ships reliably Then add the AI layer: • LLM APIs → how applications use intelligence • RAG & Retrieval → how AI gets context • Tool Calling → how AI interacts with systems • Agents & Workflows → how AI executes tasks • Evals & Guardrails → how AI becomes reliable You don’t need to learn every framework. Master the fundamentals first. AI is another layer on top of them.

@PovilasKorop @grok why can't I reply to this post please. I have noticed this for a long time.

@bahdcoder This is brilliant 👏

@twtayaan I have a question please. If i fork or clone the repo, i know there are markdown files, so does that mean I can run it locally like a docs and get a clean ui to view or i will have to read the whole thing on github itself? Please

As a developer, you should know core system design concepts. This helps show potential employers that you can turn design requirements into production-ready code. This course covers app architecture, API design, caching, networking, databases, and more. freecodecamp.org/news/learn-sys…

Laravel tip. In `down()` method of migrations, did you know about a convenient method `dropConstrainedForeignId()`? It drops the foreign key constraint, and then the column. 2-in-1. It's not in the official docs, only in the API docs: api.laravel.com/docs/13.x/Illu…

This is the only repo you need for your next DevOps interview. Real broken pipelines and Kubernetes challenges, not flashcards. github.com/moabukar/tech-…

This repo is a gold mine for DevOps engineers 🤯 If you're preparing for a DevOps interview, this single repo can replace half the courses you'd normally pay for. It covers: → Linux, Networking, and Git fundamentals → Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform → AWS, Azure, and GCP → Ansible, Prometheus, and OpenStack → SQL, NoSQL, and system design → Real interview-style questions with actual written answers, not just topics to Google Bookmark it and actually go through it before your next interview. Repo: github.com/bregman-arie/d…

If you want to become GOAT-level with system design, then learn these 17 case studies (save now):

This is what the future may look like. Stay sharp!

If you are preparing for backend interviews. These 8 System Design topics cover 80% of interview questions. 1. Load Balancers L4 vs L7 Round Robin vs Least Connections Health Checks Sticky Sessions Reverse Proxy Global Load Balancing 2. Application Servers Stateless vs Stateful Session Management (JWT/Cookies) Redis Caching Threading vs Async Rate Limiting Auto Scaling 3. Databases SQL vs NoSQL Indexing Replication Sharding Transactions & ACID CAP Theorem & Consistency 4. Redis stores data in RAM. RAM gets wiped after a restart. So... why doesn't Redis lose all your data? 🤔

Hey Laravel Developers 👩‍💻 Composer is the most used package manager in the PHP ecosystem for installing packages and deploying Laravel applications. But I have one piece of advice for you: always add a platform config to your composer.json file and mention the PHP version required by your application. This forces Composer to install packages based on the PHP version you have mentioned in your composer.json file. This way, you reduce Composer-related issues during deployments and keep dependency resolution consistent across local, CI, and production environments. Also, make sure the PHP version in your require section matches the PHP version your application supports. #laravel #php
