@JakePare2 thanks I use a standard capsule collider. The base of the character controller is actually built using an asset called Easy Character Movement but you could absolutely create something similar using free open source kinematic controllers

@girukkaa basically I am quite lazy! so main components 1. procedural legs, 2. hip bone rotates side to side, bounces down, 3. when the character lands or jumps their entire scale is stretched through code, 4. things like their backpack or shirt jiggles as they move (I use magica cloth)

@girukkaa it's not perfect but it works in my case because the character's legs are quite small. I also apply various effects to the character's hip bone through code. for example if the character is moving forward I am periodically rotating the hip bon up and down.
