As it turns out, yes chlorine is very rare in the universe. But because of its chemistry (affinity for Na and solubility of salt in water) 95% of Earth's chlorine is right at the surface, dissolved in seawater. We live in a unusually rich chlorine environment!

A lot of people are confused about what Computer Science even is. According to Harold Abelson of MIT, it is not science, and it's not even about computers. So your confusion is valid! Also, we desperately need a discipline that is actually about computers.
@the_aiju Deep down this is me 😆 but I totally expected that someone would have come up with a better empirical argument for it, in some realm, over the last 4 years.
@the_aiju I wasn't too specific but I was imagining my example as something where "compare" is really not what I mean. If it's "this material is so identical [or different] there's nothing to compare" my understanding is cf. is technically not correct, though no one really minds.
