@CovidCaution 💯 on the moldex airwaves. What i use for my MRIs too. I’ve used the medical ones (blue) and the grey/black which have carbon moldex.com/product-catego… Note not all moldex masks are mri safe. Need to get ones with the adjustable head strap as others use staples for straps

@AmandaB55744931 I tried both those as well because i was trying to avoid surgery. Unfortunately I have bilateral hip dysplasia (which caused my tears) so ended up with surgery in the end Hoping you have better results and improve without needing surgery 🤞

@ThePOTSPostman @SalvMattera If you do find out it’s torn, if you can, see a hip preservation specialist for them to look and make sure you don’t have dysplasia. Xrays/MRI report won’t necessarily mention dysplasia but a hip dr will draw on xray to check. Just been through this - had bilateral dysplasia

It is somewhat flexible compared to other cup styles so it fits face better. Also some in the series have a full face foam seal which helps with fit too. moldex.com/product-catego…

@ecgandrhythmRoe Sure! Here are few labeled at the top. You’ll see that lead i is the worst quality. I usually have problems getting that one to read (guess is my raynauds) but placing on stomach and chest much better quality.

@ExhaustedPA_S That was not the best possible news... might be close to the worst as no definitive answer Did either mention THA as an option (which has its downsides) So feel you on the tired. Not sure your location, but if looking for another opinion DM & can give my surgeons info at Duke

@ExhaustedPA_S “Thankfully a nerve surgery” cackling over here cause eeek nerve surgery but totally get you Bummer about muscle relaxer. Were my go to when it felt like 2 people twisting leg to break my knee but didn’t help that deeeep bone pain Hoping you find something to help

@DrDerekOchiai Xray reports don’t necessarily mention dysplasia… not until a hip specialist gets to it. Is the takeaway if MRI shows torn labrum to see hip dr to find out why? Are there initiatives to have radiologists look for dysplasia?
