@kelvmackenzie Look at child disability payments! Child CDP or child DLA, I totally agree with. What I dont agree with is if the parent is claiming UC they are then given upto a further 500 disabled child element + 200 carer element for taking care of their own child!! Why????

@Helen_Whately We disabled people aren’t a rival army stealing pensioners’ money. Many work, many cannot, and PIP isn’t an unemployment benefit. Pitting vulnerable people against each other while ignoring poverty, low wages and inequality isn’t protecting taxpayers; it’s scapegoating.

@peterrhague PIP isn’t handed out for casually filling in a form, and Motability isn’t a free car. Eligibility is assessed, and claimants exchange their mobility payment for a lease. Many PIP recipients work too. Resenting disabled people won’t make your own car cheaper.
