I've attempted to map everything in oncology in a public website and open source repo for all. The site is trying to get all cancers, products, technologies, bottlenecks, people, startup opportunities with 1000+ ideas for upgrading the field. If you have a loved one with cancer and you are technical or can engineer, go take a look, file improvement requests or bugs or help with the open repo and make this the best open and free info resource for individuals, researchers and educational use. This should save people time, aid AI oncology projects and generate positive action. If you are not technical just complain in this thread about broken or annoying or things you want and I'll fix them live. @analogue hey folks! I spent a long time chasing what I thought was a bug in my homebrew, but seems to be analogue3d behavior, not present on OEM N64. Controller Paks > 256kbit don't seem to work. Using a 4mbit controller pak on Analogue3d makes it appear as a 256kbit.

Calibration and shaping get combined into a small precomputed transform at boot (or whenever they change). The poll loop just calls "apply", a handful of integer operations with no FPU required. Plain C99, no dependencies, no allocation.

Shaping comes second, and is where the feel comes from. Inner and outer deadzones in axial or radial shapes, gamma response curves, and circular, square, or octagonal virtual gates, all in one struct you can change at runtime without recalibrating.

Calibration comes first. Pickaxes runs a calibration session on the firmware that captures rest position, min and max travel, and orientation. Release the stick, push it in each direction, rotate it around the rim. Drive it from a homebrew app or a button combo on the device.

Portablizers cobble together sticks and triggers from whatever fits the design, things like Joycon sticks, 3DS sliders, and random ALPS sticks from Digikey. Pickaxes lets you tune the raw ADC values from these to match OEM feel, or to your own preference.

Made a custom fully open-source based KiCAD+OpenEMS physical simulation harness so that I can check the signal integrity of my PCB design before shipping it off to the fabs. It's already working coz it flagged my board for signal integrity issues 😂

@IssaZombie343 Works on Dolphin emulator yes, it is designed as a faithful protocol-identical recreation of the official adapter, so it doesn’t support alternative USB HID modes though.
