This is the most impossible launch moments ever captured this close A camera sat beneath Starship’s Super Heavy booster as all 33 Raptor engines ignited at once Inside each Raptor, methane and oxygen produce combustion gases approaching 3,000°C, or roughly 5,400°F Then the full engine array erupts, hammering the launch mount with supersonic exhaust, violent shockwaves, extreme acoustic energy, vibration, water spray and enormous clouds of steam Yet the camera kept recording through the entire ignition sequence from directly beneath the mount, without the view ever clouding or fogging SpaceX team engineered a way to capture footage from the most brutal launch environments imaginable The camera system behind this shot may be almost as impressive as the footage itself
