@Chancellorpen Could argue back and say this is always clear in hindsight. I have a feeling if you give me AR glasses overlaying the world, able to auto respond, and in the future just read my request via thoughts, the current interfaces of phone are going to comparatively feel like a pain.

@DontFearAI Can't wait in 2+ years when they reveal the cherry on top that Meta Glasses were also an operation to aggregate all of the recorded human-perspectives of day to day tasks for training their own Meta robots, or selling the dataset to other companies for huge $$.

@ZY9 The return to what NFT Worlds would/should of been/was invisioned - but its fresh, new game/idea from ground up to lead us going forward for what was @hytopiagg instead of our game platform that failed. Minecraft meets PoE2 meets Runescape basically, but not crazy hardcore

NFTW - We launched free, then did the avatars launch on the back of the success and the fast growth on the Minecraft player side, executed on the Minecraft side, and then got banned by MC. MetaFab - launched free, gave to devs onboarded games, demand dropped, devs didn't show clear long term interest, and lack of traction made it clear it didn't have a future - we killed that. Minecraft-Client-V1 - Began building, shipped early visuals and demos, spent 1.5 years and a lot of capital from the avatars mint on a large team trying to stand this up, couldn't get the last 10% over the line to be compatible with MC, had to eat the loss as the caliber could not compete with others like Lunar client that instead of from scratch piggy-backed on the Java client for Minecraft, but we couldn't do because the blockchain element. HYCHAIN - Launched during the L2 frenzy due to us feeling it'd been too long the minecraft client was in the works and the community wanted something to get launched / succeed now. We built multiple games, and launched HYPLAY developer services on the back of the L2 gaming partnerships frenzy to try and get traction that others could get behind. We did the node mint, spun up a huge team for this from that, tried to do a ton of partnerships/promo work, partner game studios, etc and burned through the capital very fast as the semblence of any traction and hype on L2 gaming chains quickly died, and had to shut it down and rework nodes to try and pull them forward. Minecraft-Client-V2 - Approached by a "more capable" team that calimed they could do it, had the impressive alcolades and relevent experiences to reasonably believe they could get it done. 1+ year spend on this, and very huge budget, only to have the same last 5% issue HYTOPIA - Minecraft client was taking way too long and hitting the last 5% walls and not having the quality of a comparable lunar client so we in the background took time to see what our own game engine build out would look like. We halted minecraft client v2 after our own engine showed promise, shipped a game engine from scratch for web for developers to use in the era where AI engineering was still barely capable, so most of it hinged on our team capabilities, started getting games up, showed we could clearly drive big player numbers but had issues with retention/stickiness as games weren't good, continued iterating on for almost 2 years solving the issues and going into trying to raise more capital to keep going and with the sentiment of VC and all markets in general weren't able to so from a lack of funds had to shut it down. Also keep in mind - we are a legitimate company that pays legitimate taxes - people see mint numbers and revenues but do not understand how much of a substantial amount of that went to taxes, team salary fees/taxes, healthcare/insurance/team comp taxes, and so much more - probably close to half our funds alone was consumed by mostly taxes and then all the administrative operation costs on top of that with the team sizes we had over projects/time. We've went above and beyond compared to 99% of projects in this space to try and get these things to succeed, make them work, and execute on them for years - no we haven't made something that was a overwhelming sustainable long term success yet, but respectfully fuck off for thinking we just kill shit at will without good reason or are just "another rug" - dig into the full picture and compare what we've tried to other projects. The biggest toxicity of this space is everyone thinking "number don't go up - rug, scammers"

@crferrie @cagyjan1 We've failed a lot in hindsight for sure, but I'm not the type of person to give up. I still believe we can build a category defining game/project in web3 even with the state of things.

Brother I have nothing to sell you. We try over and over again trying to stand up a successful project in the void of web3/crypto death spirals and we get crucified for trying. I don't understand. How many actual rugs have their been in this space? What separates a rug and not? I feel like us being knocked down 4 times and getting up a 5th does no fairly qualify as one.
