5/ Also measured A* vs Dijkstra instead of just claiming it's faster. Open 200x200 grid: 198 cells vs 29,779. 99.3% fewer. Maze: 4.4%. A* pays in proportion to how well the heuristic predicts real distance. Measure your own topology.

1/ BFS returned a valid shortest path. It was also the slowest route available. 1 hop at 240ms, when 2 hops would've done it in 198ms. The algorithm wasn't buggy. I asked the wrong question.

I have realized that the older I have gotten, the more bitter I have gotten at the world. At how evil the world has become. From politics, to mob mentalities, to me trying to blame other things for what is going on. I need to go back to what solutions can I bring to the table. How can I spread a softer side of humanity when everything seems so harsh, coarse, rough, rigid against us? That is what I want to do. Spread a little bit of joy, and begin again working on me and my craft. Whatever that may be. And hopefully, I can spread joy and light to those in my immediate surroundings. That is all I can hope for, because that is all I can reach, and it will be a fruitful life.

What is everyone working on in their spare time? Me? Well, I am building myself an admin dashboard that helps me research what I need to write technical articles for my portfolio website. This admin dashboard also is built with a serving of Ollama, just to see how I can train it and work on different coding functions. That part is mainly a learning tool for me. I also incorporated Ollama because if I can train it to be better than at least ChatGPT, I will stop paying for it. And no, I am not a vibe coder
