@howie_hua I don't like like as a technique to always use but I think it can be useful for getting children used to estimating. This is a technique that most of us use in our heads anyway and I'd only go for full-on long division if I needed a precise answer (and didn't have a calculator).

@romxdev They shouldn't be the default but I've worked a few places where it was the only sane way to modernize a monolithic legacy system, breaking pieces off one at a time.

@AndyWoodturner I like to leave a flap at the top to write on. It makes it a lot easier to see what you've got, especially if lots of things are the same colour.

I realised Bluey was a girl pretty early on. It took me way, way too long to realise that they were playing musical statues in the intro though.

@anon_opin People who judge people based on their accent are not to be trusted. People who try and adapt their accent are just trying to get ahead.

@housecor This is what I've seen at a couple of places. AI is basically performance testing the SDLC and finding the bottlenecks. Unsurprisingly, these bottlenecks were never the developers' typing speed.

@JyveTech @Youngy54 A mate had their 18th at a pub/club we'd been going to for years. They didn't mind but asked them to change the banner to Happy 21st!
