🇪🇺 That subjects fully reserved stablecoins to fractional-reserve banking risk. If 60% of the reserves sit as deposits inside commercial banks, the stablecoin may be 100% backed on its own balance sheet, but 60% of that backing is now exposed to bank counterparty risk. We already saw the problem when USDC lost its peg during the Silicon Valley Bank collapse. This is exactly the problem we faced when we tried to create a full-reserve bank. We could never get the Bank of England banking licence we needed. You can create a full-reserve stablecoin, but if regulators force the reserves back into commercial bank deposits, you put fractional-reserve banking underneath it. Full reserve stablecoin. Fractional reserve bank underneath it.

This is, unfortunately, what inevitably happens when institutions are forced to gather vast amounts of personal data. The entire KYC apparatus needs to be revised, root and branch. It does nothing to stop actual crime, and its main function now seems to be the provision of vast personal data honey pota that are leaked with monotonous regularity, endangering innocent and law abiding individuals who have passed on their data in good faith.

alot of focus is on $spcx lately and rightly so, it is a phenominal company with phenominal upside but i think $tsla is probably underestimated and undervalued at this point. we have cybercap about to be unveiled and rolled out imminently, a multi trillion $ industry in and of itself, and then optimus likely getting rolled out a year or 2 later, another deca trillion dollar industry. all while TSLA price action has gone sideways basically for 5 years. i wholeheartedly believe tsla will be a $ 10T+ company within 10 years and if the merger with spcx does happen which i think is likely you can double that number again.
