I’ve been an 150 guy for 12 years (3x f-150s), it wasn’t strong enough to do heavy lifting, but it was a nice all around balance. I’m currently driving my last f-150. I’ve got a Tesla truck (fingers crossed) being delivered this year. I’ll sell the current f-150 and pickup a 2015-2017 f-350 diesel for the heavy stuff. Times are a changing. To force me over to ev it better be revolutionary. The Tesla truck is weird enough to bring me over, the lightening is a wasted attempt at innovation IMO.
