게임인재원 8기 2학기 미니프로젝트 심사 다녀왔다. 12개월 과정을 9개월로 축소하면서 고민 많았던 것 같은데 의외로 결과물은 그럴듯 해서 9개월로 줄이자고 한 공무원만 칭찬 받을 것 같다. 모두 3D게임이고, 비주얼 퀄리티는 높으나 레퍼런스가 존재하는 장르 게임이 많아 독창성 부족은 아쉽다.
원래 프린터처럼 종이를 깔고 진짜 펜으로 글씨를 쓰거나 그림을 그리는 장치인데, 밑에 액정 타블렛을 깔았다고 달라지는 건 없어. 이건 AI도 아니야.... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plotter
현실은 개발 기간이 단축되는 부분이 아주 일부분 이라는 게 함정. 트리플A 게임 스튜디오 중 AI 도입하면서 대규모 인원 감축한 스튜디오들은 회생 불가능. 일자리를 잃은 개발자들이 인디게임 개발로 유입, 우리가 원했던 건 고티급 게임이 매달 나오는 것이었지만 현실은 점점 비슷한 게임들이 양산
