Hooked dev is starting to me remind me a lot of the stonk dev when no one was really paying attention to him early doors. Continually shipping creative ideas, think it’s a matter of time till we see runners emerge from hooked on Sol. These runners will likely be new and novel assets incorporating multiple hooks at once. The big advantage hooked also has is that it doesn’t really have any rivalling hook projects on Solana. Like all the recent big launchpad runners we have a strong flywheel already in place too with 80% of all fees from all launches go straight towards buybacks and burns on $Hooked -5.86% of supply burnt already -3,100 Sol in buybacks All whilst the eco is in its infancy without any real runners, yet.

After my foray into lands afar (Solana), and my first exposure in years to trench warfare (DeFi summer was quite similar to now), some thoughts. I thought we could bring back hold culture bc, ideally, I think everyone prefers to WAGMI vs. whatever the fuck this is now, and I saw tribes forming around bags. I was wrong ab this. Holding will continue to exist in isolated pockets, but the attention span of zoomers (and millennials too these days, if we’re being honest) is at record lows. This is expert mode. Everyone has superintelligence at their disposal, especially the bad guys. Everything is bundled, especially the good shit. Everything is fast… Like unbelievably fast. The tech, the cycles, the rotations, the coin creations… Fast. This generation of traders is vicious. Many lack any technical charting ability and trade on vibes alone… And in trading, the vibes are shifting constantly. Something that’s hot one week may have ZERO attention the next. FOMO is way more powerful than people realize… He who controls the flows controls the universe. Social trading at this level of transparency is novel and has many consequences in terms of reflexivity. I think main characters rotate quickly bc they are under immense pressure not to sell whatever has kingmade them, and cycles haven’t magically stopped playing out. I still think holding comes back to some extent as the cycle matures, and once again, some things are definitely worth holding. Most things aren’t. It’s the perfect environment to take your initials out after 2–3x and buy another lottery ticket or put cash to the side for TBD. You have to be extremely aggressive with profit-taking bc standing liquidity is thinner than ever, so the only way to be efficient is to take advantage of volume events. And you have to be extremely diversified bc most bags are prob farms that just go to zero. Reflecting on my recent performance, I think it’s better than some (I didn’t miss the Solana rotation), but I’ve definitely left a lot on the table by not being as mechanical ab this as I should have been. It’s funny how one can do this his entire adult life and the game never gets old. It’s the same game I’ve been playing for years, just with thousands of badass expansion packs. This is the most dangerous and hardest trading environment I’ve ever witnessed, but it’s also one of the most stimulating. See you in the trenches, cousins.
