看到了个Fable5.1弄的神奇项目, 是一个标签打印机的固件, 作者说他在速卖通上买了个热敏标签打印机, 然后打印机耗材用光了, 他就买了点第三方的热敏纸. 结果这个标签打印机很鸡贼, 耗材是有RFID的(让我想起了空气净化器的滤芯), 检测到不是自家产品, 就降速然后降低打印质量. 由于是RFID, 于是大家的人肉破解方法是把用光的耗材的卷轴(类似卷纸芯的那根塑料轴，里边有RFID芯片), 放到打印机旁边, 然后把第三方耗材的卷轴拆掉. 这样打印机就只能感应到原厂塑料轴, 就能继续打印了. 作者气不过于是用Fable-5.1尝试破解这个打印机固件, 然后经过几次刷机后, 就成功了. 我看了下repo细节, 有挺多好玩的地方, 首先Fable-5.1成功推导出了控制打印浓度的公式: darkness=renderer_input×coefficient, 然后定位了打印浓度在内存中的位置, 然后甚至利用了 Cortex-M0 汇编代码洞跳转技术把浓度重映射的动态逻辑缝合了进去, 彻底绕过了降速和降质限制. 比较黑色幽默的是整个过程 AI 负责搞定高难度的 ARM 逆向, 数学推导和汇编注入, 而人类由于长了眼睛和手, 于是负责提供物理执行力, 也就是按电源键和看纸上的字够不够黑. 从目前来看 AI 正在把逆向工程这种原本专属于极客的"重工业技术"彻底平民化了. 照这个趋势发展下去，硬件厂商精心设计的用来搞垄断的那些防伪和硬件锁啥的, 在人人可用的代码 Agent 面前, 基本就跟纸糊的一样了. 项目在这里: github.com/ThreeDaPrint/n… (记得刷机就有变砖的风险, 谨慎操作) > #fable51 #AIAgent

@SebJVidal knows more than anyone about UIKit internals, mostly through the most straightforward kind of reverse engineering: runtime reflection using Objective-C selectors. Most of Apple’s frameworks are Obj-C based. Thank John Scuelly, Steve Jobs, and NeXT for that. This makes frameworks like UIKit more-or-less transparent, for those with eyes to see. Dynamically picking selector strings at runtime is the linchpin of private API work. In your Swift code, you never lost access to the Objective-C runtime: just call NSClassFromString, NSSelectorFromString, and all their friends to initialise underscored classes and “private” APIs. The _UINavigationBarPalette (Seb's favourite API) is one of these underscored views: it lets you attach arbitrary views onto a navigation bar, but without losing the useful a11y, size transitions, and automatic layout that makes most custom UI so Temu-esque. Apple has lots of fancy high-level APIs that make building UI automagical But when experimenting with new hardware, I always like to rebuild everything from scratch to really understand what the fundamental building blocks actually are Probably an old habit from when I was a UI prototyper in Apple's Hardware org, and only had basic firmware to work with 😄
