What still stalls deals is the fragmented lifecycle of creating the financial instrument itself. Private placement, convertible note, commercial paper, all of it runs across separate lawyers, filings and templates that don't connect. One private placement alone can cost around $17,000 before anything touches a chain. The conversation covered where that leaves issuers today: • Why 99% of tokenized instruments are securities, and why that's manageable rather than alarming • UCC Article 12, now adopted in roughly 33 states, where control of the wallet establishes ownership • Why liquidity is the wrong reason to tokenize right now, and control and self-execution are the right ones • Why private credit moves first, with lenders already refusing to fund deals unless the asset is tokenized • The Latin America to US corridor, where capital costs 20% or more largely because the transaction reads as risky His closing point was about language rather than technology: the instruments being tokenized are ones institutions have understood for decades, and inventing new words for them makes adoption harder, not easier. Tokenizing an asset does not automatically give it a path to US investors. That gap is easy to overlook. An issuer can have the technology to create and manage a tokenized financial instrument, but still need a separate regulatory structure to distribute it in the US. That is where the @Brickken x @_Issuant partnership makes sense. Brickken handles the infrastructure side: issuance, compliance execution, investor onboarding, document workflows, and lifecycle management. Issuant brings the US regulatory layer, including broker dealer and registered investment advisor capability. Two different problems, now connected through one engagement. For European issuers looking toward the US market, this can remove a major layer of coordination. Tokenization creates the asset. Brickken is making a pretty interesting move into the US 🇺🇸 they just partnered with @_Issuant to bring together Brickken’s tokenization + compliance infrastructure with Issuant’s US broker-dealer + RIA capabilities basically connecting the tech side of tokenized assets with the regulated side of accessing the US market and honestly this is where rwa gets interesting tokenizing an asset is one thing making it compliant, legally structured and actually accessible to investors is another @Brickken seems to be leaning harder into that side of the market. while also pushing its vision around agentic capital markets US market is a big one this could open some interesting doors for Brickken
