There’s a difference between being disliked and being out of alignment with yourself.
If you need everyone to approve of you, you start editing yourself before reality even gets a chance to respond.
Say what you mean. Want what you want. Let people react however they react.
You don't need universal approval. You need enough self-trust that someone else's rejection doesn't make you abandon your own choice.
Maybe the endless search for purpose is just another way to avoid facing how absurd life really is. We keep looking for some grand meaning, when maybe there isn't one waiting for us. Maybe you're supposed to live anyway, make your own meaning, and enjoy the ride.
You're alive.
That's already fucking insane when you really think about it.
And somehow you're spending your limited time refreshing a feed, worrying about opinions, and convincing yourself you'll start living later.
Later isn't guaranteed.
So go do something with today.
Make the call.
Take the risk.
Build something.
Be stupidly ambitious.
Whatever it is you've been telling yourself you'll do "one day"
start.
your brain doesn't need you to solve the same problem 500 times a day. that's what makes repetitive negative thinking so dangerous.
you replay the conversation, imagine every possible bad outcome, criticize yourself, then call it “thinking.” meanwhile you're just strengthening the same mental pathway over and over.
you can't control every thought that shows up, but you can stop feeding it. go for a walk. train. write the thought down. talk to someone. actually do something about the problem if there's an action to take.
thinking is useful when it leads somewhere. rumination just keeps you trapped in the same room.
Wake up and immediately stare at the small screen. Spend 8 hours staring at the medium screen. Take your breaks by staring at the small screen. Go home and stare at the big screen for a few hours to “relax.” Get into bed and finish the day staring at the small screen. Do it again tomorrow.
Living the dream
One of the biggest mistakes young people make is playing it too safe when they have the least to lose. Take the risk. Move somewhere new. Start the business. Ask the girl out. Try the thing you've been thinking about. It's much easier to take big swings before life gets complicated.
You don't always need to show people how smart you are. Ask questions. Act curious. Let them explain. The more comfortable people feel talking, the more they'll reveal. You learn more, avoid unnecessary attention, and keep your cards close. Sometimes the smartest move is letting people underestimate you.
the scary part isn't consuming. it's consuming without ever turning any of it into something of your own.
you can watch 100 videos about fitness and never train. read 50 books and never write. save thousands of ideas and never build anything. eventually your life becomes a stream of other people's thoughts, opinions and creations while your own sit unused.
create something every day. write, build, train, draw, cook, start a business, make music, have a real conversation. it doesn't have to be impressive.
you just need to keep proving to yourself that you're a participant, not just an audience member.
If you're not creating everyday, you'll degrade into an animal. A slave for consumption, rotting away any sense of individuality you posses as a self-aware being. You'll be conditioned into the equivalent of a farm animal, led by the one who feeds you (algorithms). It's your

instead of breathing air upwards into your nostrils you should breathe into your face because when you look at the skull there’s a horizontal hole. by doing this it automatically triggers diaphragmatic breathing
People massively underestimate how much of life changes when you stop treating every interaction like a transaction.
Talk to people. Compliment them. Be warm. Flirt when you genuinely feel it. Joke with strangers. Make people feel like it's okay to be alive around you.
That isn't some social hack.
It's what happens when you stop protecting yourself from rejection and actually participate in the world.
If you casually flirt with every woman you meet and greet random guys with a “what’s up bro” energy, you'll go far in life. Everyone’s just a kid in an adult body. They want complements and connection. Be that guy and you’ll never be lonely or broke.
You can spend another year thinking about whether you're capable.
Or you can decide you're going to find out.
Go outside.
Talk to people.
Take risks.
Build something.
Fail.
Try again.
You don't need certainty before you move. You need enough conviction to keep moving after reality tells you "no" a few times.
That's the game.
paint the world. stand unapologetically in your own skin and let yourself want what you want. chase it hard. make the move. get rejected. adjust. try again. keep putting yourself into the world until your life starts looking less like what you were supposed to do and more like what you actually chose. live relentlessly.
Money spent on learning, looking good, and eating well is never wasted. You're investing in your mind, your body, and your future self. Some expenses give you a temporary high. These make you better.
