I said it once and I'll say it again: by the time this regime is done with us this country will be a desert. This is rabid cutting down of trees and is ecocide. This destruction is abnormal.

The government is much more focused on deforestation. If mature plantation trees in Kereita have reached harvesting age, let them be harvested under proper management and replanted. We need timber production, but we also need to protect the forest and the water tower.

@big_gal That's the thing! I'm not sure why some people feel the need to minimise the efforts of others. Mind you, these are serious efforts.

I really, really admire this babe. 55km in one day sounds easy on asphalt and concrete until you attempt it (not to mention, that's ultra distance, and some sections are not always safe for a lone walker). Well done!!! And those saying this is "nothing", show us your workings.

Again. Please prepare before coming on national television to tell us nonsense like we don't have brains. Ati I don't have figures but nawashow tu. Such nonsense. You want us to believe your narratives without proof? No wonder people distrust this government and it's minions 😤.

I'm low-key looking forward to schools closing so I can have a safe space and time to allow my soul to unwind and collapse without worrying about school pick-up times, schedules, meals, school meetings and all that. To unzip myself and let everything fall to the ground.

I recently read something that I can't stop thinking about. It said: there is a line that should never be crossed. When someone knows you are facing one of the hardest times of your life and still chooses to disrespect you or add to your stress, something darker is at play..

@NyamburaGobela This feels like the come-down from a big mountain. You feel like you went and touched God, but you have to now bend down and dry your bathroom floor and wash dishes and do laundry. People routinely bypass this, become severely depressed, or fail to process this come-down...

Reality ya Kenya ni hii. We live in a country where 70-80% is arid or semi arid. Most of the arable land has been subdivided to 1/8ths, and we are building apartments there Every single irrigation scheme has been eaten to death. Heavy taxation means factors of production are very very high compared to our neighbors. In the next decade, we will be fed by Tz, UG and Zambia

Shoba Gatimu @shobanes

In 3-4 years, animal protein will be for a select few. Cost of production is unbearable. Feed, meds, labour. As it is, we are importing chicken from UG. Worse, feed is substandard and our breeds are somehow getting poorer in quality. Mbegu poa ni expe sana. Future is bleak. 🤦🏾🤦🏾
