Unfortunately our primary analytical tool, UPLC-QToF, is currently undergoing repair work. This is unplanned downtime for the system. We are working to get this issue resolved as quickly as possible.
W/C 24th June 2024 WEDINOS will not be processing samples during the week commencing Monday 24th June. We will restart processing samples on Monday 1st July. We therefore request that you do not submit samples during this period. Thank you for your continued support
@judithyates1 10 samples profiled as containing xylazine in May 2024. 1 purchased as codeine, where xylazine was found in isolation. 9 purchased as heroin, where xylazine was found in combination with other substances, including 3 occasions where metonitazene was also present.

@CardiffSoul WEDINOS only accepts samples of IPEDs submitted by Public Health Wales approved sentinel providers. This has been the case since 2014.
01/02/2024: New results have been added to the website. N.B the date displayed on the website highlights when a sample was received at the lab, not the date of publication. **When submitting samples to WEDINOS please complete as much of the sample and effects form as you can**
