Twitter has clarified their position. From this point on, apps that attempt to recreate the Twitter experience will not be allowed to access Twitter services. Unfortunately, this ultimately means that Talon will cease to work. theverge.com/2023/1/19/2356…
Looks like Twitter has taken out support for Talon as of last night. I am working to see if there will be a solution for this and have no updates at this time androidpolice.com/third-party-tw…
This issue is not unique to Talon. All, or most, third party apps appear to be experiencing the same issue.
If I do receive further information, I will pass it on to everyone here.
@Lhtruong @jonas_alday a fix has already been uploaded to the Play Store. I do not know how long it will take them to release it.
Let's start off 2020 with a bang. With this morning's v5.0.0 release, the Pulse SMS Android app is now 100% open source! 👀🔥 Drop in and give it a star! ⭐️ Repo: github.com/klinker-apps/p… Details: blog.klinkerapps.com/pulse-sms-open… Play Store: play.google.com/store/apps/det…
@RogerBlumberg @lukeklinker nothing is broken and there is nothing to fix. Just because you don't like something does not mean that others agree with you. Perhaps there is a reason that this is the color Google has selected for themselves and their design suggestions. I will be following their example.
@RogerBlumberg @lukeklinker that is what normally happens when you decide to insult and personally attack people on Twitter, during a discussion. I can't believe that you would be surprised by the outcome. The app is open source. Feel free to customize and build it however you want.
All third party apps are having the same issue. The fix will have to come from Twitter's side.
@guidok this isn't something I plan to do. The app is open source though. Anyone could add this in to Talon
@HeathQuinnArt Twitter's third party search only provides 10 days of results. There will be no work around.
@DebPomerance no, this isn't available to third party apps

@RasKafka you can open your profile by touching the profile picture, in the header of the drawer
@JoGibney you can tell the app how many tweets you want to refresh, from sync settings. The default is 200.
@guntherman7 there is an option to backup settings under the app memory section.
