@vsempohuj210959 @katamajo Yeah, OP worded it wrongly. But some artists focus way too much on having an style unaware that learning realism and its understanding comes first. Style is bending the rules, which will be done poorly if you don't know them

@bauxietmali @johndrewmarkley Ignoring the the fact that keeping quiet is an evil act itself, when I said "are these people ... utilitarian?" i mean real life people who don't seem to mind Ozymandias' actions and rather focus on "le facism bad" doll

@Interrobang_2 @Gushin669 @Thule_OS @iuserandompfps This is what people mean when they say fandoms ruined entertainment; they only watch shows as a social event and not to enjoy the show itself. A show becomes a means for "discourse" communities. Now a fan who simply enjoys it without the autistic wiki quirkyness is the crazy one

@BINNGGUSS @MinuteNerdNews @decaf_reads "except no" dude that's literally the original intention of the post. I could not care less about your opinion of the movie or its elements, I am telling you that you were wrong about your assumption

@DameCJNurk @TheDoct37878744 "there is no comparison" *Proceeds to make another made up comparison just like OP* Also the hypotetical show would actually be called Transyl Beach

@BINNGGUSS @MinuteNerdNews @decaf_reads The post was originally a mockery to the type of wordbuilding the DCU has where they show nothing, but tell you everything through non-subtle references in between dialogue. Look at the comments of that post for more examples of mockery. You just missed the point

@FousseJoshua For example I like angular designs like the ones from studio trigger so I copy the shapes. Sometimes I like only the eyes or the hair and mix that with different faces

@FousseJoshua Well, first of all nothing stops you from learning more than one thing. It should be easy to figure out what do you like about the style and then copy those elements but not without considering if they work alone or with the whole style. Shading is usually universal tho

@jade_the_shade9 He uses three aliens and the story has detective-like elements just like AF. For instance, there is episodes of Lanterns where not a single construct was made. This is far from Surf Dracula

@SenaTejeda @DrawzFinite Probably Bludgeon. Ithink Drift was only considered in the movie he was in, while Bludgeon has a toy from this universe (tho the toy doesn't look like that)
