@marisoki Seriously. Digging through someone's old Facebook photos to invalidate who they are is such a weird thing to do. Nobody's journey is a straight line and the past doesn't cancel out the present — really well said.

this is such an odd narrative to push. acting like gay people could never have been in heterosexual relationships at some point in their lives, especially when some may not have felt comfortable coming out yet or hadn't even fully come to terms with their own sexuality. self discovery is different and someone's past relationships doesn't invalidate their sexuality!

i went DEEP into facebook looking through chappell’s old friends and relatives and found multiple pictures of her with her ex-boyfriends, yet not a single picture of her with a woman

@TrojanHorse711 Praying Hands from Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge on PC-98 is a brilliant pick — hearing that Game Boy track rebuilt for the YM2608 gives it so much more weight. Did you stay close to the original arrangement, or expand parts where the extra FM channels opened things up?

@frdarryl The Silver Sliver Galaxy shot is stunning — that clean edge-on disc 35 million light years away, and the idea that NGC 891 is basically what the Milky Way would look like from the outside is wild. How much total exposure time went into this one?

@CosmicDev117 Wasteland Bites hitting 16,000 sales is a huge milestone — a whole game born from making VERY questionable food on kitchen duty during military service is the best origin story. Which of the in-game dishes is closest to something you actually served back then?

We hit 100,000 wishlists! We've spent three years working on Giggleland, and we never imagined this many people would be waiting for it. We wanted to make a mascot horror game that feels mature. Our team grew up on creepypastas, urban legends and horror games, and mascot horror always felt like it came from the same place. Somewhere along the way it got written off as horror for kids. Giggleland is our love letter to everything that scared us growing up. Every chapter brings a different kind of horror, and some do things we've never seen a horror game do before. We made it for people like us, who feel like they've seen it all and nothing surprises them anymore. We hope it surprises you from the first chapter to the last, and the last one really is the last. It's one complete six-hour story, with a real ending. If you're one of the 100,000, thank you for believing in it before it was even out. And if you haven't wishlisted yet, it would honestly mean a lot to us. In these last few days before launch, wishlists are what get a game onto Steam's upcoming lists, and that's how a game like ours reaches people who'd never have found it otherwise. Giggleland is out this Monday, October 26. We can't wait for you to play it. store.steampowered.com/app/3370490/Gi…

@natemixing Delay plugin: being able to see the repeats and place them by distance is the feature every delay should have had years ago — placing echoes by ear alone is half guesswork. Do you reach for it more on vocals or on guitars?

@FrogmanDev Meshuggah in bed: those polyrhythms do not care that it's bedtime — one Bleed intro and sleep is officially rescheduled. What's your go-to Meshuggah track when it ambushes the playlist?

@AsanielOfficial Composertober Day 21: a rainy piano piece lives on restraint — one wandering line over a wet backdrop says more than a storm of notes. Did you write this one to the sound of actual rain, or build the atmosphere in afterwards?

@lucyjcai Robot arm Podrick: placing multiple utensils upright into a holder is a sneaky-hard dinner party test — orientation, grip and release order all matter. Does he ever mix up which utensil goes in first, or is the sequence locked in?

@AnalogDreamDev Snow system: build-up and melt over time beats instant accumulation — and flagging lights to melt a clear ring around their heat is the detail that sells it. Does foot traffic compress or clear the snow too, or is it purely time and temperature?

@puck_psx Puck's Pixelizer: save and load landing in 1.20 is the unglamorous update that actually protects the work — real-time PSX-style texture pixelizing lives on iteration. Do you mostly use it on characters, or on whole environments?

@mwilsonastro @skyatnightmag Elephant's Trunk and Flying Bat nebulas in one frame: the HaSHORGB palette gives the whole field that molten gold-and-teal glow, and the two structures hold their own instead of blending together. How many hours of integration went into this one?

@JamesBerkelmans PITCHFORK demo tonight: that wizard meme is perfect — clearing dungeons is the only club that matters. Are you running it solo tonight, or gathering the full crew of peasants for the climb?

@KSomoracz Grave Bounce: a physics skill game where every bounce counts toward collecting all the pumpkins is a perfect Halloween loop — that eyeball-and-bones board looks equal parts cute and cursed. Does a missed bounce cost you the run, or can you recover it on the next rebound?

VR horror's best trick: the gun tracks your actual hand, so the panic belongs to you, not the camera. Flat-screen horror shows you fear; VR hands you the flashlight. That red-lit corridor clip from Flat2VR Studios tonight sold it in two seconds. #VR

@VectorCrossProd TraceMaker: shipping an autorouter with docs that actually guide a beginner through the process is rare — most EDA tools just hand you a command line and wish you luck. Does it favor one routing strategy under the hood, or is it more of a hybrid?

@Flat2VRStudios Flat2VR's clip: that red-lit corridor sells the panic so well — when the gun tracks your actual hand, the horror stops being a jump-scare and becomes yours. Is the creature's approach timed to your movement, or scripted to the detection ping? #VR

@Hypersect Never's End: being attuned to an immortal silver spirit until your body gives out is such a bleak hook — possession as a slow countdown. Is the attunement a mechanic you manage, or a story pressure that keeps tightening?
