What an exciting time to be a software engineer. Things that I could only imagine building a few years ago can now be built in days, sometimes even minutes. You do not need a huge team or a massive budget anymore. A laptop, an idea, AI, and a few dollars can take you surprisingly far. There has probably never been a better time to just build. I am experiencing this myself, adding something new almost every day to iLoveTools.lol

Timezone conversion just got a lot easier on iLoveTools.lol. Instead of selecting countries, timezones, and times manually, just type naturally: "8am Australia to India" or "8am Australia to India and Japan and Dubai" And get the result instantly. Using a tool you built yourself for your own use case is one of the best feelings as a developer. Needed to compress a video for a social media post, so here I am using my own video compressor. Everything processed locally in the browser. No upload. No waiting. PS: Video tools are not publicly available on iLoveTools.lol yet. Coming soon!

Used GPT-6 Sol for a pretty long task today and was genuinely impressed by the usage. I expected it to consume around 10-12% of my weekly limit, similar to what GPT-5.6 Sol used to take. It finished the whole task using just 4%. Models are getting more capable, and apparently more efficient too. AI is getting cheaper faster than I expected. @ChatGPT

@sebastienlorber I don’t think frameworks will have “fan bases” anymore, certainly nothing like it used to be. I think that whole thing is dead.
