Last run before Yorkshire Marathon. 4 x 8 mins with 30 secs rest. Now to let the anticipation/excitement/fear build. @RunComPod

Low HR run, almost going backwards. Sweating out a mild cold. Footballs rubbish, feel mentally drained. Grateful for nature and blue skies and @RunComPod

@DeeringRob @RunComPod @SStrath58072 I don’t think I would have gone to the physio had I not been a @RunComPod listener. And probably wouldn’t have signed up for a marathon in the first place. It will be different listening to marathon episodes now.

@RunComPod Physically I feel fine. Just debating with myself if missing two longer runs recently due to having had man flu is going to come back to bite me (probably about mile 20) on Sunday or not 🤔

Missing my last two long runs of my training On Saturday I left work early because I was shivering then sweated in bed all evening On Sunday I ran my first marathon. Still feel lucky!
