America’s veterans and citizens should not have to die to get their day in court. Today I introduced the Justice for Veterans and Victims of Terrorism Act to begin closing a loophole in our legal system that has denied Americans justice for too long. This bill brings victims one step closer to justice by directing a GAO study assessing the cost of how additional victims of state sponsored terrorism might be compensated for their injuries. I look forward to working with my colleagues in Congress to hold terrorists accountable and bring justice to those who are owed it!

Senate Democrats are voting against the very constituents they claim to represent. American families deserve to be shielded from rising data center energy costs. The Ratepayer Protection Act would have done just that. Republicans offered a solution, and Democrats swatted it down for pure politics. Shameful.

DC Democrats just blocked @SenJonHusted’s bill that would have held data center builders responsible for their own energy and prevent homeowners and small businesses from seeing their electricity prices go up. The House had passed it by an almost unanimous vote yesterday! Why?

Today, @HouseGOP passed @TransportGOP’s Water Resources Development Act of 2026, making a critical investment in the infrastructure that enables our communities and businesses to thrive. I was proud to vote in support of it to secure authorizations of $32 million for critical projects improving transportation systems and water infrastructure in Ohio’s Second Congressional District. America’s economy relies on functioning ports, harbors, and inland waterways, and this bill will strengthen supply chains while providing essential flood and storm protection for the businesses that need it. I was proud to see it pass and will continue working to bolster our nation’s critical infrastructure in Congress.

It was great catching up with @OHElectricCoops this week! We discussed how important the FEMA Act of 2025 in @TransportGOP is for streamlining funds following natural disasters across our state. I was proud to vote in support of the Rural and Municipal Utility Cybersecurity Act to help rural electric cooperatives protect themselves and our communities from cybersecurity threats. In Congress, I will continue working to meet the needs of Ohio businesses and families!

Today, we pause to remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the American families whose lives were forever changed. We are indebted to the firefighters, police officers, and ordinary Americans who displayed extraordinary courage by stepping up to the plate in our nation’s darkest hour. They are true American heroes. Twenty five years later, we will never forget those we lost, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the families who continue to feel their absence. As a nation, we will forever stand united with an unbreakable spirit of strength and resilience, while honoring the memory of those we lost.

It was incredible visiting @LockheedMartin and seeing firsthand how their cutting-edge aerospace and defense technologies are strengthening our nation’s military and economy!
