The only reasonable way to prevent the end of human agency within this century is a complete mobilization towards biological means of increasing intelligence and human capacity. This seems less preferable to humans than mutual total retirement from history.
The most optimistic outcome for AI, if we don't all die, is just Communism: machines do everything and we're just welfare beggars, living at the mercy of an omnipotent state, for all time. The right should be against this.
@BereIKAberezIKA Not sure about that. iirc MGS4 begins with an AK-103 or whatever jamming and snake tossing it to the ground in disgust. Then camera pivots to the other goons with their SCARs.
@HaeckelGroyper The gaokao grinding I presume optimizes away any inkling of happiness that can be derived from life for those that don't have +3σ iq in China.
I'm talking of whites.
It lends weight to Spengler's ideas, that certain peoples are gripped by certain problems, or the intellect of a race is defined more by what it considers problematic. Motion needing void, requiring the discovery of zero, all seems obvious or trivial to outsiders, but it's not.

Most likely outcome of AI in video games is probably not 1000 Peter Molyneux's blooming. More like one or two Ready Player One Second Life sludge-mediums eating the market. With video games based on rules, systems, form, tradition, becoming a quaint low-energy retirement home.
Slop does not come from AI, but from the heart of man. AI only reveals the slop that is already in the heart of man. What man desires is slop. The problem is with man, not the machines.
In Germanic heroic legends, honor mattered more than winning or even surviving. You could lose, or even know you were going to die, and still keep your honor as long as you stood your ground with courage and loyalty. Giving up out of fear, betraying your people, or abandoning your duty could bring dishonor and that shame could outlive you.
In the end, it wasn’t about whether you won or lost, but about how you faced your fate.
They were onto something...
