Reading a bridge design tells you what should happen. Watching one execute tells you what it does. Recorded a walkthrough. #Bitcoin #Cardano @pogun_io @omerh_

@DanoFinance I was curious about your CLMM implementation, is it source available? Some ideas: Multi-asset market making, similar to 3pool Custom liquidity profiles for CLMM Integration into swap aggregators

@atlanter @Scalus3 Very cool, always wondering while writing validators whether I'm unknowingly shooting myself in the foot cost wise, or what is getting optimized during compilation to UPLC

@DanoFinance Is the orderbook an implementation of cardano-swaps, and can you add liquidity directly to the orderbook?

Why does the order matter? Get it backwards: incentives first - and capital arrives, then leaves with the rewards. We wrote this into PRIME as a design rule: Fragmentation and efficiency before volume. That's the difference between durable growth and a subsidy treadmill.

Building anything decentralized in 2026, is an insane uphill battle. You’re constantly compared to centralized alternatives that are 1000x more well resourced. You have to work way harder to reproduce a thing that’s easy to do in a centralized way. The cost is significantly higher. The simplest contract change requires a new round of audits. In a centralized system, that same change is quick overnight tweak to the code running on a local server. Users don’t appreciate it until it’s too late. And even when they’re reminded why it matters, they forget quickly after cuz they have goldfish memory. There’s no longer a value premium for doing anything in a decentralized way, and often there’s a discount applied. It just takes a lot of commitment to stick by decentralization in 2026. If you’re building something that optimizes for decentralization in this era, you’re in a unique crowd. A minority. Ppl will crack jokes about you on X. They’ll discourage you. They’ll dismiss you. They’ll say you shouldn’t exist because the centralized options are sufficient. You need real heart and determination to build for decentralization in 2026. But if you can weather through it and stay committed, eventually ppl will appreciate what you built. They’ll be grateful because this industry derives its purpose from the values of decentralization. Every so often, the crowd returns to it its roots. And when they do, you’ll gey your recognition. It ain’t much, but it’s honest work.

@flubdubster @Cerkoryn @alphagrowth1 Speed is orthogonal to the comparison. Speed is good if you are building for HFT, that's not the only path

@flubdubster @Cerkoryn @alphagrowth1 Intent based DEX, sounds like placing a limit order or a CIP-118 partial tx, both of which are perfectly suited for an orderbook world

@flubdubster @Cerkoryn @alphagrowth1 Yes, LP's historically lose money, but there is value in the liquidity they provide, that means there is a market for the service Local state orders unlock new paradigms, along with the potential to innovate and shift that market to favor both sides more equally

@flubdubster @Cerkoryn @alphagrowth1 I'm not sure what pure AMM means, or what uniswap moved along means, they seem to still be in the AMM business Orderbooks operate on a lower level primitive than bonding curves, that gives them more flexibility than AMMs

@Cerkoryn @flubdubster @alphagrowth1 It's an interesting idea, reminds me a bit of this idea from Sebastien blog.sebastiengllmt.com/posts/offer-fi…

@flubdubster @Cerkoryn @alphagrowth1 Building an orderbook doesn't mean you have to do what HL is doing, you lean into different strengths. Instead of trying to support HFT on a chain with 20 second block times, support long term LP strategies that the average user can participate in

@flubdubster @Cerkoryn @alphagrowth1 Do AMM's need to be fast? You can achieve the same model as an AMM on an orderbook HFT certainly is one path to profitability, and will never happen on actual decentralized infra Orderbook grid strategies profit from long term volatility movement in a price range, like CLAMMs

@flubdubster @Cerkoryn @alphagrowth1 Yes, if you are willing to limit the validator set, require beefy hardware, and require running nodes close enough for 5 ms latency, you can go fast. Not exactly what projects like cardano and ethereum are going for. Doesn't make sense to compete with HL on decentralized infra

@flubdubster @Cerkoryn @alphagrowth1 An automated orderbook takes the best part of an AMM, one click deployment for a long term strategy, and brings it to the orderbook. Bonding curves mimic geometric grid strategies on an orderbook, a local state utxo blockchain can mimic the AMM experience on an orderbook
